Making Cards

Dear Bloggers,
Here are some cards that I made.  I changed gyms recently and I really wanted to thank some of my teachers as I enjoyed their classes so much.

My yoga teacher's card and yes she inspired me.

'Precious' was for my favourite teacher.

This card was for my Cycling teacher who always wore pink.

'Moments' was for the gym owner as she did such a fabulous job.

Inspired by Gabrielle Pollacco and Prima

Dear Bloggers,
I have recently become aware of Gabrielle Pollacco's work and I absolutely love everything she creates.  The Scrapbook Diaries sell kits and videos of her work but of course Gabrielle's kits are so popular they sell out very quickly.   I purchased the 'video only' version of one of Gabrielle's fabulous layouts because I wanted to see how she created. Here is my interpretation.

My Final Wednesday Heartfelt Creations DT Reveal.

Dear Bloggers,

This is my final DT reveal for Heartfelt Creations and I am feeling quite sad.  I blinked and my 6 month term is over.  I am unable to continue creating for this amazing company as I am going overseas for 8 weeks to visit and travel with our daughter, Kirsty.  She has been away for almost a year now and my heart has been aching with missing her so much.  I am soooo excited to be seeing her and it has been very exciting planning our trip.  The travel, combined with all the commitments of work and family, mean that I will not have the necessary time to do justice to the amazing 'Heartfelt Creations' ranges that I have been so privileged to use.
I have really appreciated each and everyone of you calling by and looking at the Wednesday DT Reveals.

Hopefully you will still visit my blog  and I would love you to say 'Hi'
Take care
By the way - I have had a sneak peak of the next two up and coming ranges that Heartfelt Creations is releasing and oh!!!!!! they are stunning beyond belief.  But then again I wouldn't expect any less.

Anyhow here are my final photos.  I tried to make my final project a special one for you all....so I hope that you like it.

Double Page Travel Layout using Basic Grey 'What's Up Collection'.

Dear Bloggers,

Today I wanted to share another another LO about our middle daughter leaving for Europe.(Here is my first one).   I had a few sheets of the amazing Basic Grey paper featuring balloon paper left and I thought these would be perfect for a quick layout.  Perfect papers - yes...I love them...but quick -  absolutely not.  Five sheets of bazzill with 5 different spray inks all rejected, 4 different alphabet titles thrown on the floor and all my photos reprinted in black and white and re-sized later, I was quite pleased with the results. That was until I added lots of drops of liquid pearls and  decided I did not like them at all.  I pulled the LO apart yet again but could not find any replacement papers. I rummaged through my stash and tried paper after paper....not liking any of them and finally  going to bed after midnight. The following morning I finally found one more sheet from the range and I was saved at last.  The layout weighs a tonne from all the sheets of paper that were rejected and covered over.  All part of the scrapbooking journey I guess...this was just a greater 'labour of love' than usual. Hope you like it...and if you don't please don't tell me as I am so over this LO.

PS I miss her so much.

Dear Bloggers,

Welcome to another Wednesday where the Heartfelt Creations DT reveals new projects.  I love the April release 'Celebrate the Journey' as it is obviously excellent for the travel theme and also for male cards and LO.  The blues and beiges are divine.....see for yourself at Heartfelt Creations.

Travel, Hot air Balloons and Kirsty leaving on her European Adventure.

Dear Bloggers,

Almost a year ago my middle daughter Kirsty left to go on her European adventure.  For three months she was travelling around Europe with her best friend.  They were booked into a 'Top deck Tour' for some of the time and for the rest they frequented Youth Hostels.  The girls went on Sail Croatia-the party boat and visited Ibiza - the party island.  They attended music festivals and had a fantastic time all the way around Europe (and thankfully survived).  August came all too soon and Kate (best friend) went home. Kirsty landed in London with no job, no old friends or home.  Within a flash she had all three....Hannah (a new best friend..at least for the time being), a job at Mace as a designer using In Design and a house in South London.  She is still there so if you look down the bottom of the LO I have not filled in her date of return.  Instead Tiff (my youngest daughter) and I are going to visit her in June this year.

Here is a LO of her leaving.  This isn't as frilly and fussy as my normal LOs but she is just not that type of girl.
