| One of my Single Wreath Harvey Christmas cards, created from rescued die-cut pieces and decorated with layered bows, imitation snow and treasures from my craft stash. |
Now that I have started slowly working on my Christmas cards for 2026, I came across the partly finished remains of those cards. I pulled everything apart, keeping the pieces I still liked and tossing the rest into the bin.
Then I thought, “Honestly, I have already made sooooo many Harveys. I am just going to throw all of these away!”
Of course, by the next day I had changed my mind. I rescued various pieces from the bin and began turning them into completely new Christmas cards.
For this first series, I placed a single Harvey in front of a beautiful wreath die from Impression Obsession. I love how the detailed little soldier looks framed by the foliage, flowers and festive embellishments.
I gathered supplies from all over my craft room to decorate the cards, including layered bows, bells, Christmas charms, black pearls, flowers with candy-like centres, assorted rhinestones, white paint, imitation snow, patterned papers from my stash and plenty of gold cardstock.
Each card is slightly different, but together they form a wonderfully festive series of Single Wreath Harveys. They are detailed, dimensional and perhaps just a little bit over the top—which is exactly how I like my Christmas cards!
This is Part 1...please see the following post, Part 2
These cards are only one part of my latest Harvey collection. Be sure to look for the coordinating Harvey Trio cards featuring three little soldiers together.
