Prima Mixed Media Doll Stamps - Lorrena and Swing Dress

Dear Bloggers,
Here are some more dolls and I absolutely adore Lorrena with her long dress.
And yes that blob of ink is gone - nothing like a small punched circle of the same paper and some pearls to cover a splodge.

The Blob of Ink.....call me Jenny Messy Fingers

Dear Bloggers,

I was making some Prima doll tags with the newest release stamps from CHA.  I was pleased with how everything was coming along but I wanted to darken the dolls hair with some brown paint.  And yes you guessed it!!! Miss Messy Fingers (aka me) managed to put a blob of brown paint right in the middle of her soft blue dress...and I did not have any of the paper left. :(
See the brown spot for yourself.  The pearls actually provide some coverage but obviously not nearly enough!!!

Needless to say this is a work in progress and I will blog the finished result ASAP.

Making Wedding Stationery

Dear Bloggers,

It is finally complete.  I designed and made the wedding stationery for a friend.  This included the Order of Service, Invitation, wishing well, thank you card and place settings for all the guests.  Wow it was an enormous job!!!!!  The designing of the pieces alone took many many nights of trying this and trying that.  Then I met with the bride and her mother to choose the ones they liked.  We did a little tweaking here and small changes there.  Type setting the documents, organising the mail merge from excel to Photoshop and printing took me another few long nights and days.
The bride, her mother and three bridesmaids, my two daughters  and I then worked all day last Saturday making all the pieces.  Amy, Tiff and I worked for 10 hours straight and the others almost as long.  Still we were not finished... my butterfly die cut became blunt and we ran out of some supplies.  A few dashes to Catchy Crafts and another few nights working on the invitations and yes finally they are done.  The bride is very happy with the results which is lovely.

Amy Graduating

Dear Bloggers,

Scrapbooking Memories commissioned me to create a LO from a double page plan in the 'Easy As 1,2,3' section of the magazine.  Last year Amy graduated from her Master of Art and I used the graduation photos for these pages.

Scrapbooking Kimba our cat the 'Scrapmatt's Way'.

Dear Bloggers,
We have now been back from Africa for 10 days and finally I am emerging from the pile of jobs that were there for me on our return.  I finished off a page today on our newest family member Kimba our cat.  It felt so good to be scrapping again!!!

The page is called,'You Can't Hear Me Purr in Photos' because Kimba is the just the friendliest cat and he follows you around the house purring constantly. He is an absolute delight and we adore him.
Scrapmatts has lovely cat chipboard and I painted three little chippy cats white and tied a bow around their neck....so cute.
