This is the third and final post in my off-the-page 3D unicorn series, featuring a second handcrafted unicorn wall hanging created on a Little Birdie Crafts MDF Unicorn Head base. In contrast to the previous soft, dusty pink design, this piece is brighter and bolder, finished with vibrant bright pink, white and turquoise Prima flowers — a whimsical, floral wall decor piece perfect for nurseries and children’s rooms.

Well… maybe not just for children’s rooms. The little girl in me still loves unicorns, the colours pink and turquoise, and flowers — and oh, how I love Prima Flowers. Add a sprinkling of sparkle and plenty of bling, and what could be more perfect?

To be truthful, one of the unicorns is now hanging in my craft room. My husband wasn’t quite as keen on it making an appearance in our bedroom 😄

This is Part 2 of my Floral Unicorn Decor Series, featuring the first of two unicorn wall hangings crafted on a Little Birdie Crafts MDF Unicorn Head base and finished with turquoise and dusty pink Prima flowers.

For this piece, I wanted to work with a slightly muted colour palette, and the dusty pink blooms felt like the perfect choice. They gave the unicorn a gentle shabby chic quality, with a subtle, almost vintage feel.

Look closely and you’ll spot delicate clear dragonflies, Prima Pearls, and little touches of glitter nestled among the flowers. Wouldn’t this be gorgeous on a little girl’s wall or in a nursery?

This is Post 1 in my Floral Unicorn Décor Series, and it features a pair of freestanding unicorns adorned with white, pink and grey Prima flowers—perfect for nurseries, children’s rooms, or whimsical spaces.

I have two little granddaughters, Scout and Calli-Rose, who adore unicorns, glitter and all things pink. They have a bedroom at our house, so I made this adorable pair of unicorns to sit on their shelves as they fall asleep. Scout and Calli-Rose believe the unicorns watch over them through the night — and I rather like to think they do.

'My Favorite Things,' Unicorn Cards (Post 10 of 10)

Dear Bloggers,

I love the stampsets: 'CS-534 Friendly Unicorns' and 'CS-366 Rainbows and Unicorns,' by 'My Favorite Things'.

This is my final post in the 10 part series on Unicorn Cards  and these cards did not fall into any of the previous categories.  So heck!!! Here is  a miscellaneous collection of playful unicorns.

For the first card, I used an offset heart at a jaunty angle and I was pleased with the results.

The second card was stamped with Melania Deasy's card in mind. (Please see previous post).  Rather than using paper strips, I used the paint stroke images from the 'Stampin Up Set', 'Work of Art'.

I like this card by Laura Dovalo, from the 'My Favorite Things', design team.

Here is my take on Laura's work.  Thanks Laura for being so inspiring.!!!

'My Favorite Things,' Unicorn Cards using Paper Strips. (Post 9 of 10)

Dear Bloggers,

I like the two stamp sets: 'CS-534 Friendly Unicorns' and 'CS-366 Rainbows and Unicorns,' by 'My Favorite Things'.

The talented Melania Deasy, from the 'My Favorite Things, Design Team,' created the card below and I loved how she used the paper strips and stamps.

I purchased the 'Stitched strips of Ease' by Hefty Doodle and created my own takes on Melania's amazing work.

'My Favorite Things,' Unicorn Cards (Post 8 of 10)

Dear Bloggers,

I just love the stamp sets: 'CS-534 Friendly Unicorns' and 'CS-366 Rainbows and Unicorns,' by 'My Favorite Things.'

I purchased the rainbow die by 'Lawn Fawn' and went a little crazy one day and just made lots and lots of rainbows. I used some of these to make the simple cards shown below.
