Don’t you love the way the stamped sentiments curve around the back of the large goose? It is such a clever feature of the Concord & 9th Silly Goose clear photopolymer stamp set, and it makes the greeting feel like part of the design rather than a separate element.

For these handmade cards, I paired the large goose from the Concord & 9th Silly Goose stamp set and coordinating dies with a selection of pretty patterned papers. The soft colours and decorative patterns create a cheerful background while allowing the wonderfully expressive goose to remain the main feature.

Party hats, sweet little bows, puddles of water and tufts of grass—these cards really do have it all! I had fun combining the different Silly Goose accessories to give each card its own playful personality. The puddles and grass help create a complete little scene, while the party hats and bows make the geese look ready for a celebration.

The large goose is ideal for handmade birthday cards, celebration cards and friendship cards, particularly when combined with the curved sentiments included in the set. Changing the patterned papers and small accessories makes it easy to create a coordinated group of cards in which every design is slightly different.
