Project Instructions:

1.       This project measures 6” x 4.5”.

2.       Coat the Stampbord with Antique linen ink.  Dab on a little Frayed Burlap and once dry edge with Raisin Ink.

3.       Stamp the Burnished Key Hole Stamp onto the Stampbord with Archival Black ink.

4.       Once dry use the scraping tools to scratch back the inked surface to reveal the white coating underneath.  Use the picture as a guide and vary the thickness and amount of lines to produce your desired result.

5.       Trim white bazzill 5.2” x 3.7” so it just peeks out from behind the Stampbord.

Dear Bloggers,

Scrapmatts has an  OTP Christmas tree which is great fun to make but also perfect for the centre of the table or a cute free standing ornament. My little tree was featured in the most recent edition of Scrapbooking Memories

Six Prima Mixed Media Dolls

Dear Bloggers,
I was lucky enough to have 6 of my Prima Mixed Media Doll tags published in Australian Cardmaking Stamping and Papercraft Vol 20 No 2.  I was extremely thrilled when I pulled the magazine from my letter box to see one  of my tags was on the front cover....how very exciting.  Thanks Emily and Jane ...I feel very honoured.

Upon opening the magazine I had my breath taken away by the magnificent job the photographer and team at Express did with the photography.  The time and care that had been taken with my tags was amazing. The photos below do not do it credit.... you must buy the mag and see for yourself.

Christmas Cards the Scrapmatts Way

Dear Bloggers,
Scrapbooking Memories asked me to do a 'Bostik challenge' where I used their great glue to make some Christmas cards.  These featured some terrific Scrapmatts chipboard.  I used white opaque embossing powder to cover the chipboard and wow I love the effect.

Antiquity Paper Collection and Vintage Floret Dies by Heartfelt Creations

I am very close to my mother in law Hazel.  The other day we were over for lunch and Hazel bought out some old photos that she discovered in the back of a cupboard.  Amongst them were these precious wedding photos...what a treat as we had not seen them before.  The Antiquity Paper Collection is full of wonderful heritage style papers with lovely brown and crimson tones....perfect for the old photos.  Aren't they a gorgeous couple.  Sadly Ron (the groom) died at age 47 from a sudden heart attack but Hazel (the bride) is a sprightly 81 years old. I was very touched that she loved the LO.

Heidi Swapp Make Pretty Stuff Down Under

Dear Bloggers,

Last weekend my friend Robyn and I went to Adelaide to the Heidi Swapp and Kim Jeffress 'Make Pretty Stuff' classes.  We had a wonderful time.  Below is a picture of me with the delightful Heidi....that lady is all poise and style..  The classes went for 8 and a half hours and despite the constant bombardment with questions, requests for photos and autographs and general hub bub...she was charming, smiling and delightful without fault the whole time.  I really enjoyed using her colour shine range and new collections.

Below is some of Heidi's work using her new products.

Kim Jeffress is our Aussie born star and she showed us how to make the cutest Christmas album possible.  Kim was so sweet, kind and ever so helpful.  I got left behind at one stage as I made a mistake and Kim came and saved the day for me.
Below are some of the drop dead gorgeous pages out of Kim's book.

I also met the lovely Natalie May which was great.. unfortunately we did not get a picture together.

The next day I went to 'Seriously Scrapbooking' and had a seriously good time.  I was thrilled to see that the talented Belinda Spencer was teaching so I jumped into one of her amazing classes and made two brilliant Chrissie cards.

This is the view of the sunset over the ocean from outside my hotel room...so beautiful having the sun set over the water.
Here is a picture of me relaxing taking in the view.    It's a hard life!!!!!

Thanks for calling by.

She is So Beautiful

Graphics 45 French Country and the Barossa Valley

Dear Bloggers,
I have a confession to make.  We all say we scrapbook because we want to preserve memories.  Sure I do most of the time!!!!!! but this time all I wanted to do was to play with the stunning Graphics 45 papers.  I just couldn't resist the rooster and the warm earthy tones of this range.  So I guess this LO is really about fussy cutting and having fun.
