Alex Syberia Designs, Christmas bouquet die, floral Christmas cards, handmade cards, die cut cards, festive cardmaking

Handmade Christmas cards created with the Alex Syberia Designs Christmas Bouquet Die Set, featuring the Joy and Ho Ho words with tiny Mini Ornament Dies.

Dear Bloggers,

For this set of handmade Christmas cards, I used the Alex Syberia Designs Christmas Bouquet Die Set again, but this time I used it in a different way. Instead of following the bouquet template, I used the individual die-cut pieces more freely to build festive designs around the words Joy and Ho Ho.

The letter dies are included in the Christmas Bouquet Die Set, and they are such a fun addition. I love the word Joy for Christmas cards because it feels classic, simple and full of meaning. Ho Ho is always playful and a little bit funny, so it brings a cheerful, light-hearted feel to the cards.

I was especially happy with the card shown at the beginning of this post. It has a lovely balance of festive detail, clean design and playful Christmas character.

Christmas Bouquet Cards with Alex Syberia Designs Die Set

Handmade Christmas bouquet cards created with the Alex Syberia Designs Christmas Bouquet Die Set, featuring layered florals, leaves, stems and striking dark backgrounds.

    Dear Bloggers,

This set of handmade Christmas cards was created using the Alex Syberia Designs Christmas Bouquet Die Set. It is such a beautiful die set and really sets you up for success, as it includes a helpful template to guide the placement of all the die-cut pieces.

The bouquet is large and full of lovely details, including beautifully shaped flowers, buds, leaves and stems. The set also includes a shadow die, which makes it easy to create extra depth and definition behind the floral arrangement.

If you would like to see other cards using these die cuts without he template please see my next post.

For these cards, the Christmas bouquet was placed mainly on black backgrounds because the contrast felt very striking. The bright festive florals really stand out against the darker cardstock, giving the cards a bold and elegant look. However, this design would work beautifully with almost any background colour, from soft neutrals to classic Christmas reds, greens or metallics.

In this example, I used a white background with a kraft cardstock shadow behind the bouquet. I also added a white paint splatter for a little extra texture. It was meant to be quite subtle, but I went a bit heavier than planned. In the end, I actually liked the effect, as the stronger splatter gives the card a more handmade, snowy feel.

This is a gorgeous die set for festive cardmaking, especially if you enjoy layered die cuts, floral Christmas cards and handmade cards with a polished finish.

A full list of all the materials used to create these cards is included at the end of this post.

Handmade Christmas Table Tags with Stampin’ Up! Patterned Tag Dies

Handmade Christmas table tags created with Stampin’ Up! Patterned Tag Dies and The Greetery Fit to Be Tied Bow, tucked into festive Santa holders.

    Dear Bloggers,
For our Christmas table, I made a set of coordinating handmade tags for all 18 family members joining us for Christmas lunch. These little tags were created using the Stampin’ Up! Patterned Tag Dies and The Greetery Fit to Be Tied Bow.

I wanted the tags to feel festive, coordinated and special, without making the table look too busy. The patterned tag dies gave each place card a lovely decorative base, while the bow added a sweet finishing touch.

Once the tags were finished, I slipped them into the little Santa holders that I have had for years. They looked so cheerful sitting around the table and made each place setting feel personal and handmade.

These Christmas table tags were a lovely way to add a bit of papercraft to our family celebration. They would also work beautifully as gift tags, place cards, table decorations or keepsakes for a festive gathering.
