Your Story

Dear Bloggers,I am still having fun watching Christy Tomlinson's online 'She Art Workshops' in fact I am up to number 2 now.
This is a mixed media canvas about my middle daughter Kirsty.  She has just turned 21 and went to Melbourne with a few lose friends to celebrate.  As suggested by Christy the memorabilia from the trip was included in the background.  Unfortunately with my continual adding of layers most of the details were obscured but as Christy says - I know they are there!!!

SheArt Canvas Scene

Dear Bloggers,
I've been getting my hands dirty and challenging myself with the SheArt Canvases I am making inspired  by Christy Tomlinson's 'SheArt' Classes.  Stayed up much too late last night doing this one and I am paying for it today.  Not as happy with this canvas as my first - but hey it's all a journey and I am having lots of fun and learning alot.

Donna Downey's Mixed Media Class

Dear Bloggers,

I was very fortunate to attend Donna Downey's mixed media class and make her Poppy Canvas.  Donna was lots of fun and the lesson was very inspiring.  I also fell in love with Pan Pastels when she showed me how to use them.
