Cutting out and colouring Daisy Patch Flowers by Heartfelt Creations

Dear Bloggers,
This morning I had a little session making Daisy Patch Flowers. (They are just gorgeous).  I stamped the images by Heartfelt Creations with 'timber brown' Staz On' and cut them out with the coordinating dies.  Colouring them with my water colour crayons was so easy and effective.  The Neo-color 2 are so creamy and beautiful to use.  Initially I scribbled them onto an acrylic block, added water and used a brush to pick up the watery colours. Later I added the crayons directly to the paper and then washed over with a watery brush to blend the colours.

The Daisy Patch Flowers look beautiful when you shape them.  I spritzed the flowers lightly with water and on my moulding mat I used my stylus and gently rolled it inwards starting from the outside of the petal.  I tried to photograph this action but I had to hold the camera in my right hand and demonstrate with my left so it looks a little wonky.

Here are some of the dried and shaped flowers.

and some more

 and even more.

I went on to stack the flowers and use them in cards and layouts but you will have to wait until the March Release at Heartfelt Creations to see that!!!!

Thanks so much for calling by.
