Dear Bloggers,
Wow, Stamperia's 'Christmas Patchwork' range is gorgeous!!!. I love the shabby, vintage feel of the patchworked images and the warm palette of browns and reds with a little cool blue thrown in.
There are so many gorgeous 'Christmas Angels' in this collection that I just 'had to' make into cards.

Simple 'Christmas Tree Cards' using the 'Christmas Patchwork' Collection by Stamperia. Post #1 of 6

Dear Bloggers,
Wow,  this collection is gorgeous!!!. I love the shabby, vintage feel of the patchworked images and the warm palette of browns and reds with a little cool blue thrown in. The images are so beautiful that you don't really need to do much at all to make beautiful cards.
All the cards below are simply one sheet of paper cut up with a bit of inking, a title and few embellishments.

This is my sixth post using Stamperia 'Christmas Patchwork'.

Cards using Spellbinders, 'Be Bold Blooms' die set and Creative Expression, 'Shaped Card, Watering Can' Dies. Post #1 of 8

Dear Bloggers,

When I saw the spellbinders die set, 'Be Bold Blooms', I fell in love with the etching, beautiful floral shapes, lovely clusters and selection of leaves. I could not stop cutting and spent quite a few days just making pretty flowers.  I then spent many weeks making LOTS of cards with the gorgeous blooms. In fact, I made so many cards that I have divided them up into 8 separate posts.  This is the first in the series.  I invite you to look at the other seven.

Sue Wilson from Creative Expressions has a wonderful watering can die which, of course, beckoned to be filled with the 'Be Bold Blooms'.

Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms - Slimline Cards #6

Dear Bloggers,

When I saw the spellbinders die set, 'Be Bold Blooms', I fell in love with the etching, beautiful floral shapes, lovely clusters and selection of leaves. I could not stop cutting and spent quite a few days just making pretty flowers.  I then spent many weeks making LOTS of cards with the gorgeous blooms. In fact, I made so many cards that I have divided them up into 8 separate posts.  This is the fifth in the series.  I invite you to look at the other seven.

I felt the Blooms would suit the 'slimline shape' with the flowers standing tall and proud.  I also really liked the Kraft cardstock as a background.....I have used lots of this colour combination in some of my Christmas cards, but that is another story.

The second card is a totally different palette to my personal favourite of pinks, purples and teals.  I made it for a friend of mine whose son tragically and unexpectedly died at 38 years of age.  She like maroon, gold and bling, so that was what I used.
