This is my second post in my Easter Pickup Truck Card Series featuring double-sided handmade cards created with the Big Pickup Cab and Big Pickup Tailgate stamps, dies, and stencils, decorated using the Loads of Spring stamps and dies by Honey Bee Stamps.

The little lady this card was for loves pink, so there was really only one option — a hot pink pickup truck.

This is the first post in my Easter Pickup Truck Card Series featuring double-sided handmade cards created with the Big Pickup Cab and Big Pickup Tailgate stamps, dies, and stencils, decorated using the Loads of Spring stamps and dies by Honey Bee Stamps.

If you love stamping as much as I do, you have to check out the fabulous Big Pickup stamp and die sets from Honey Bee Stamps. The Big Pickup Cab set includes everything you need to create the front of a classic pickup truck, while the Big Pickup Tailgate set finishes it off with a fun view from the back.

You can absolutely make these cards using just the front of the truck — or, if you’re a glutton for punishment like me, you can do both sides. The problem was that I had seven cards to make for seven little people at Easter, which meant a lot of Copic colouring, stamping, and creating ahead of me. Anything multiplied by seven takes a very long time!

Normally, I just start creating and let my creative flow decide how many cards I make. I work until I’m done — or until I simply don’t feel like making any more. This time was different. Seven cards were required, and there was a deadline… and it was far too close for comfort.

Who can resist those absolutely adorable little dinosaurs with their big eyes and sweet flower crowns? The Birthday Dinosaur cutting die set by Spellbinders totally stole my heart!

These cards featured pink, blue and turquoise.  I paired the cute little dinosaurs with embossed backgrounds, balloons and birthday sentiments. I was able to use lots of supplies from my stash and this felt very good.  

I had so much fun playing with these cuties, I ended up making enough cards to fill seven blog posts! 🦕💐🎉
