Simple Stories Country Christmas Layouts

Dear Bloggers,
I was very attracted to 'Simple Stories' Country Christmas range of paper and embellishments ...especially the layered frames.  It was my gorgeous little Grand daughter, Callie-Rose's, first Christmas and she looked so cute in her little outfit with baby reindeer antlers.  Her dad even wore a crimson vest which perfectly matched the papers.  Such a wonderful coincidence....ah the serendipitous nature of Scrapbooking.  My daughter's dress also matched but, bless her heart, she wore a green dress because she knows how I love green in my Christmas layouts.  I am very lucky.

More Boy Mixed Media Layouts

Dear Bloggers,

Don't fall over...two posts in one night after months and months of nothing.  These certainly are strange times, even leaving Covid-19 aside!  And I really wish we could do that....leave Covid-19 aside.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I really like Di Garling's work and I have been attempting to create my own version of her style.  Pop across to her blog as her work is stunning.

Here are some of my latest creations.  And please enjoy the cheeky grins and happy photos of my darling little Grandson, Arthur.  I am soooo lucky to have such a super cute reason for creating these layouts..

Mixed Media Boy Layouts Inspired by Di Garling

Dear Bloggers,
It has been a very long time since I last posted.  Sorry little blog...I have been very neglectful.
I have been feeling quite inspired recently and enforced social isolation has many downsides but it does free up some time for crafting.
I very much like Di Garling's work and she has generously made lots of video tutorials.  I have watched many of these in an attempt to try and create my own take on her work.  Pop over to her blog
and see her stunning work for yourself.

I have a little Grandson, Arthur.  He turns 2 next month. After having three daughters of my own and three Granddaughter,s it is very exciting to be able to do grungy, messy boy layouts.  I absolutley adore pinks and flowers but it is fun to change it up a little.

'It's A Boy Thing'.by Di is soooo good that I just had to try and copy it.

This is my scraplift.

Here is a variation on the theme.

Here is another Di inspired paint and stencil dalliance.

That's all folks.

Prima Dolls Wedding Card

Hi Bloggers,
My daughter is getting married and I made her a card using the Prima Dolls.  The little figures were dressed in the clothes that they will wear at the wedding..or as close as I could possibly make.
Hope that you like them and even more to the point I hope that my daughter likes them. LOL

Layouts and cards using 'Simple Stories', Oh Baby Range.

Dear Bloggers,
Here are some boy layouts and cards using the Simple Stories, 'Oh Baby' range of products.
I found it quite challenging to make the boy layouts and not being able to add flowers or ribbons.  The results are simple layouts and cute little cards.
