Adorable cards made using, 'Heart Hugs, Honey Cuts' by Honey Bee Stamps and flowers from Spellbinders, 'Parcel and Post' Dies. (Post #2 of 12)

Dear Bloggers,
'Heart Hugs, Honey Cuts' by Honey Bee Stamps, are just adorable.  They feature a bear, fox and hedgehog, who all have little hands to hold hearts, strawberries, letters, messages, flowers and more.

This post is #2 of 12, so if you are interested, please have a look at the others. Enjoy!

I was totally blown away by the beautiful series of cards Dawn Woleslagle, from 'W Plus 9' made using these dies.  Watch her in action here.
The flowers are from the Spellbinders, 'Parcel and Post' Collection.

This is Dawns card, isn't it gorgeous.

Here is my take on her beautiful work.

For this series of cards, I wanted to use flowers with the sentiment,

'Sending You Bunches of'....'

I did not have any stamps, so I typed the sentiments and printed them onto semi gloss photo paper. The results, I thought, were very pleasing.

The next six cards, have pierced cover plates as backgrounds. The flowers are by Honey Bee Stamps, ' Lazy Daisy Pierced A2 Cover' and the leaves are by Stampin' Up.  Despite my very best efforts I am unable to find its name.

The paper piercing created a lovely detail and was flat, so I could blend inks behind the bears, under the flowers. I used a combination of 'Salty Ocean' and 'Tumbled Glass Distress oxide inks' for the blue cards and 'Salvaged Patina' Distress Oxide ink for the turquoise card. Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink is behind the 6th Bear.

The little bunches of flowers were from 'Little Birdie Crafts'. The sentiments I typed and printed out onto semi-gloss photo paper.

I used embossing folders to create highly textured backgrounds from here on.
The trees below are by 'Poppy Stamps' and the Rainbows by 'Spellbinders'.

Here I used my Christmas Tree Die Cuts to create a forest background.

The beautiful floral background (one of my favourites), is by Spellbinders.

Thanks for calling by
