You are the Smile in my Heart

 Dear Bloggers,
Hi - how are you?
I just adore the new Basic Grey range 'Out of Print'.  Have a look at the 2 LOs I did using this paper, Maya Road Doilies, Prima crocheted flowers and gorgeous Scrapmatts leaves.

These LOs were eclectic and fun - maybe a little Shabby Chic.

Rawwwwwr! Means I Love You In Dinosaur

Dear Bloggers,
Hi.
Have you seen the gorgeous Yellow Bicycle paper with the Dinosaurs?  (It is currently in stock at Catchy Crafts).

I had a great time creating these 'boy' layouts.  My friends son, Luka, was the perfect model for these papers. If you look closely you can see how I used liquid pearls to paint the dinosaurs' toes.  Who says you can't paint nails in Boy LOs???

I love this little guy just poking his head out of the paper.

Here  is the single page LO

Buttons, brads, liquid pearls, sewing and googly eyes  - lots of fun

and thanks Marie for letting me scrap gorgeous Luka

More of Amy turning 22

Hi Bloggers,
How are you?
Here is the double LO of Amy turning 22 years old.  The paper I choose to use was 'Collections' -absolutely beautiful but all the paper was only 6" x 6" so I had the fun challenge of using these little squares on a double LO 24" x 12'.  The answer, of course, was punched circles and a cut out background.

Amy turns 22 and more

Hi Bloggers,
Just a quick post to show you my latest projects.
Our cute little black dog Brodie was escaping from our yard and we could not find out where he was escaping from.  Until..... see the LO

Have a closer look

What a naughty boy

My husband is a great father to our 3 daughters so I wanted to show this in a LO.

Our lovely Amy turned 22 in March.  Here is a single LO to celebrate her birthday - I have a double one that I am working on at the moment.

Some Ghouly posts

Hi Bloggers,

I have tried some LOs with spooks and ghouls.  Not my favourite topic but it is always good to move out of your comfort zone.

I was glad to be able to use my Hero Arts stamps to make the banner.  Have a close up look.

My daughter Amy from a young age (in Primary School) loved making costumes for Tiff and I wanted to showcase some of these.  As the photos are over 10 years old the quality is quite poor but I did what I could with the LO.  I particularly enjoyed covering it with crawling spiders.

Now to a more 'Vintage' approach I used the Tim Holtz metal flowers and leaves. I was very pleased with the effect.

Here are some details

Finally some grunge.  Tiffany and her friend Sarah very obligingly came with me to a grafitted old tram sheds and I did a photo shoot. I was thrilled when the girls were walking in the dim light and then were illuminated by the light that spilled out of secluded doorway.

That's all for now.

A very long overdue blog

Hi Bloggers,
Sorry that it has been so long between posts.  Hope that you are all well and not feeling too chilly with the onset of the colder weather.

I have been doing LOs using the new Prima range of flowers and papers - very nice I must say.  (Those who know me know that I LOVE Prima  and Websters and American Crafts and Pink Paisley  - and on goes the list.......)

Here is LO of my husband and I when we were married 25 years ago with lots of Prima flowers and pearls.

I used beautiful Prima orange flowers to create 2 special LOs about my dear Elsa.

Keep watching this site for more Prima LO but here are some using other products.
I have been wanting to use this paper for ages and I was really pleased to use a collection of chipboard especially the lovely Twiddleybitz.  I love their gears - I felt that they imparted a wonderful 'steam punk' feel to the Layouts.

Have a look at each page on its own

And just a bit of digital scrapbooking to finish.
My daughter Amy was invited to her friend Sarah's 21st.  Sarah asked Amy to paint a canvas which could  be signed by all her guests.  The theme of the Party was Medieval so Amy painted a fairytale Medieval Village.  Needless to say the party was dress up and Amy and Nick went as a Medieval princess and prince.
I used Amy's painting as the background for the LO and I made the journalling into a Fairy Tale about Amy and her Prince.  I wanted to pay tribute to the amazing job Amy did with the painting and her dress up costume.

Here are the single pages in close up because the small double photo does not do it justice.

My last LO for this post is a digital one that I created whilst doing some amazing online classes with Jessica Sprague.
