Featured Card
Post 5 in my Concord & 9th Triple-Step Happy Day card series explores soft pastel colour combinations stamped side by side using the triple-step stamping technique, then finished with gold cardstock die-cut accents.
I have a real soft spot for shiny gold cardstock and gold embossing powder. I love the lustre and the sense of classic elegance they bring to a card. When the two are paired together — as they are in the featured card — the effect feels especially refined. The richness of the gold works beautifully alongside the muted coral, green, and mint colour palette, adding warmth and balance without overpowering the softer tones.
This combination of gentle pastels and lustrous gold details makes the card feel both playful and polished — a look I keep coming back to again and again.
