Getting Chrismassy with Scrapmatts Chipboard

Dear Bloggers,

Each month Scrapmatts has a challenge and I am hosting the November one.  The theme is to create three simple Christmas cards or tags using Scrapmatts chipboard.  Here are my examples to get the ball rolling.

Cookie Aguilar designed these cards and I loved them so much I took her class to make them.  I did, however, add the Scrapmatts chipboard to them. (This was not in Cookie's design).  Thanks Cookie for being such an inspiration and amzing talent.

Not all is as it seems

Dear Bloggers,
One of the Scrapmatt challenges for the month is to create something out of chipboard  using pieces out of their stereotyped role.  I responded by making a card with flowers where the petals are layered gears.  It was quick, simple and lots of fun!!

Laugh Kookaburra Laugh

Dear Bloggers,
Sorry for the length of time between posts - life just keeps on getting really busy and galloping ahead of me.
Here is a double LO of the beautiful kookaburras in our yard.

The next LO was just a quick one that I put together.  It certainly is not my usual style and I am reluctant to blog it as I am not sure of what I think of it.  I used the wonderful Dylusions Inks and stencils to make a vibrant background and the colour seemed to fit perfectly with Amy's new car.  Anyhow here it is...

More posts coming very soon I promise.

Lovely photo of Brad and Tiff

Dear Bloggers,
Tiffany has left school now - except for the elephant in the room called the HSC.  Her last official day of school was last Thursday and it started with a champagne breakfast.  I just love this photo of Tiff and Brad - father and daughter together.

Tiffany getting her driver's licence

Dear Bloggers,
Sorry for the break in blogging.  Life has been very busy here with Brad's mum breaking her hip, Amy getting very sick with a major eye infection causing her cornea to start breaking down and all the antics involved with Tiff leaving school.

I received the latest 'Scrapbooking Memories' magazine today and I was lucky enough to have my LO about Tiffany getting her P plates published.  This LO may look quite straight forward and simple but let me tell you behind the scenes it certainly took a while coming together.  Have a look.
